“Intentions of Architectural Drawing”

An architectural drawing or architect's drawing is a technical drafting of a edifice that comes down within the definition of architecture. Architectural drawings are used by designers and others for a number of intentions : to develop a intention thought into a ordered proposal, to intercommunicate thoughts and concepts, to win over customers of the virtues of a purpose, to enable a building contractor to build it, as a record of the finished piece of work, and to make a record of a edifice that already survives.

Architectural drawings are drawn allotting to a set of patterns, which include particular views, sheet sizes, units of measurement and scales, annotation and cross referencing. Conventionally, drawings were made in ink on paper or a like material, and any copies commanded had to be laboriously made by hand.
